Cardinal Fang asked: I’ve been trying for a long time to register my new Visa debit card with Yahoo! wallet, but every time I do, I get the message:
“There is an error in the payment method information. Please check the information and re-enter it or use another payment method. If the problem persists, please contact Yahoo! Customer Care.”
All the information I enter is correct and my card is active. I have tried e-mailing “Customer Care” but have never received any response whatsoever.
I’ve had to register a credit card simply so that I can continue paying for webhosting but I DO NOT want to use this permanently. My old Visa debit card worked fine but is out of date.
Any hints on how to get my debit card to work?
Useful answers only please!

kinabaloo asked: Even their payment system doesn’t work. They will disable your website without warning - either before or after doing so, take a whole day to reply to your mail and reply with some prewritten baloney and keep your website disabled even though you are unable to pay for extra bandwidth (free with many webhosts) even though the problem is their system doesn’t work (as they admitted to me). You have been warned.
They just keep ignoring my emails. At the very least they must allow me to access my files …
How to contact Yahoo Headquarters ?
The support is really moronic - they don’y even read properly your emails.
Well, despite more emails, the weekend is here and it is clear that Yahoo have decided to keep my website down at least until the Olympics are over, wasting the opportunity of a lifetime for a website about Beijing (I had put a lot of effort into coverage of the Olympics too). I think they deliberately made the traffic figure high and put in something to reject my payment attempts. Because their behaviour since otherwise would make no sense.
The website is a travel website and not political but clearly didnt fit with the widespread China bashing agenda seen throughout the western media.

I can’t wait 24 hours for a mail reply that will doubtless be clueless.
